Abstract
Based on evaluation and analysis of Ammoniacal copper quaternary (ACQ) preservative, which was commonly used in wood product preservation industry in China, the authors found that the ACQ preservative exhibited some poor performance in mold inhibition, anti-metal corrosion, and chemical stability. A modified preservative, based on ammoniacal copper quaternary, was developed to improve its performance. The results showed that mold inhibition, anti-metal corrosion, and chemical stability of the modified ACQ preservative were improved considerably.关键词
