A Consideration about Soybean Industrialization and Sustainable Development in South China

摘要

Abstract

Although soybean plays an important role in national food safety system,Chinese soybean industry is facing severe situation. As one of the key organic component parts in national soybean industry, soybean industry in South China possesses three bright spots: they are extensive adaptability of soybean species, system intensity of cultivation technology, and safety of food processing. It is necessary to realize commercialization, large-scale production, better organization, specialization and standardization for the sustainable development of soybean industry. Based on above analysis, this paper provided some policy suggestions for establishing the soybean industry system in south China, including the regulation of national soybean product layout, increase of government input for scientific and technological development and extension, regional cooperation, mode of operation, and so on.
