A mass survey report of gynecopathies among 73 534 married women in childbearing age

Abstract
Objective To investigate prevalence rate of gynecopathies among married women in childbearing age in Haizhu district of Guangzhou city, so as to provide basis for formulating, improving policies of maternal health care and regulating the stress of MCH work by the government in this area. Methods The data of mass survey of gynecopathies among married women in childbearing age in Haizhu district of Guangzhou city in recent two years were analyzed statistically. Results Among 73 534 married women in childbearing age investigated, the survey rate of gynecopathies was 89.93%, the prevalence rate of gynecopathies was 40.07%, the treatment rate was 39.78%. The first 4 common gynecopathies were mammary hyperplasia, cervical erosion, vaginal inflammation and hystermyoma in order. Conclusion The mass survey of gynaecopathies among married women in childbearing age is an important measure in maternal health care work. Early identification, diagnosis and treatment of the common, frequent gynecopathies, especially gynecological malignant tumors, can effectively reduce the prevalence rate of gynecopathies. It is necessary to strengthen maternal education so as to improve reproductive health level and quality of life of the women.关键词
