Abstract
The synoptic situation,features,genetic cause and prediction of a heavy dust devil event on 18 April,1998 were analysed.The special weather was caused b y a new genetical and dry squall line in the dry-hot clear area in front of a l arge-scale front.It is impossible to predict the severe weather by the conventi onal monitoring and prediction.关键词
