Abstract
The new century is in anera of the knowledge economy and tech nical innovation，the opportunities and challenges and competitions are existed s ide by side．In this paper，it is pointed out Guangxi which is an Autonomous Regio n implementing the great strategy of West China devlopment，has to firmly grasp t he historical opportunity and has to meet challenge of the new century，has to gr eatly develop higher education and emphatically develop Guangxi University in od er to foster innovational talent with high quality，has to develop automotive ind ustry and has to build highway to the knowledge economy in West China Area．关键词
