Realization of MPEG-2 Video Encoding by Hardware

Abstract
Aim An offline system which is used to compress the dat a is discussed. Methods The system adopts MPEG-2 to finish the encoder. At the same time, it depends on the FPGA technology to process the data of the input and output. Results An offline system which compres ses the data is accomplished. Conclusion MPEG-2 video encoding m ethod is an efficient compression method. It is possible for us to use a single chip to realize the data compression in MPEG-2 by means of FPGA.关键词
