Abstract
Contents of five secondary metabolites(bioactive constituents) in the leaves of Eucommia ulmoides in original and introducing regions were determined. The r esul ts were as follows: contents of secondary metabolites in the leaves collected fr om Zunyi(the original region) were higher than those from Yangling (the introduc ing region) while leaves collected from Luoyang region and Cili showed the lower contents of secondary metabolites than those from the intraducing region. These showed that Eucommia ulmoides from Luoyang and Cili could be introduced to Yangling, and further developed in the central plain of Shaanxi. Eucommia ulm oides from Zunyi, however was not suitable for the introduction.关键词
