摘要

Abstract

The graft copolymerization of starch with acrylamide and dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride was studied in aqueous solution using potassium permanganate/acid redox syetem as the initiator. The effects of various factors, such as the concentrations of potassium permanganate, catalyst acid, starch and monomer, as well as the kind of catalyst acid, temperature and time, on the grafting parameters were investigated. In addition, the graft copolymers were characterized by infrared analyses.
