中国木兰科木兰属一新变种
A new variety of Magnolia (Magnoliaceae) from Hubei,China
摘要
Abstract
This paper describes and illustrates Magnolia wufengensis var. multitepala L.Y.Ma et L.R.Wang,a new variety of Magnolia from Wufeng,in the southwest of Hubei Province,China. The new variety is similar to M. wufengensis var. wufengensis with the color of flower,the whole tepal inside and outside is red and the inside is slightly pale. The mainly morphological differences from the primary variety are: the petal number 12,15,18 or 24; the tepal shape broadly obovate-spathulate,obovate-spathulate or narrow obovate-spathulate; the flower color dark red,red or pale red; fertilizable and fruit-bearing.关键词
