摘要
Abstract
This paper simulated the UV disinfection reactor by employing a CFD commercial software FLUENT based on the low Re k-ε model. To a large extent, the structure of the reactor design can influence the level of disinfection of drinking water and determine the reactor's operation and maintenance costs. Therefore, optimizing design of the structure in reactor is very important. The result showed that the low Re k-ε based simulation agrees well with the experiment. Therefore, the low Reynolds k-ε model can be considered as a reliable model to analysis of the flow field in UV disinfection reactor. This model can be applied to analysis the flow field in UV disinfection reactor with different structures, so as to improve the structural design of the reactor to enhance the disinfection.关键词
