摘要

Abstract

Trace Co(Ⅱ)catalyzes fading reaction of morin oxidized by hydrogen peroxide in the medium of NaB4O7-NaOH buffer of pH 10.0, and its fading extent is linearly related to the concentration of Co(Ⅱ ). A new spectrophotometric method for determining trace Co(Ⅱ )was developed in view of the above with a detection limit of 7.6× 10-2 μ g/L for Co(Ⅱ ) at 415 nm. Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0.0~ 50 μ g/L for Co(Ⅱ ). Combined with solvent extraction separation, the method has been applied to the determination of trace Co in coal gangue.
