摘要

Abstract

For finding out the way of improving hot tearing resistance property of high str ength casting Al-Cu alloy, through measuring the thermal equilibrium curve and solute density distribution and analyzing metallograph in experiment, the effec t of 0.2% Ce on solidification process of Al-4.5 Cu and high strength castin g Al-Cu-Mn-Ti alloy have been researched by means of liquid quenching. The re sults showed that with the addition of Ce, the solidification property of tested alloy has been changed, and dendrites growth behavior has been effected also, th is synthetically effect makes the alloy structure obviously refined and homoge neous, with more developed secondary arm, which do a activity role o n improving hot tearing resistance property of high strength casting Al-Cu alloy.
