Abstract
Objective: To study the effect of early intervention on intel1igent deve1opment of premature infant.Method: 60 premature infants were divided into two groups: intervention group in the training center and premature control group. Other 30 full- term infants were collected as normal control. All infants of the 3 groups and their family master were followed in out- patient clinic for regular medical exaamination and guidance in children health. They were all assessed with the Developmental Diagnostic Scale of Children aged 0~4 years of Zhang Jiajian. At the age of 1 and 1.5 year- old, they were examined in DQ (development quotient) . Results: There was no difference of DQ at age I between intervention group and normal control (p > 0.05) . Both of them showed higher DQ than premature control (p < 0.01) . Compared with DQ at age 1, premature infants (both intervention group and premature control group) had higher DQ at age 1.5, while nornal infants had no significant progress. There were two case of low intelligence (DQ < 70) in premature control group at age 1.5, but no such case in intervention group. Conclusion: Early intervention has a positive effect on intelliqent development of premature infant.关键词
