摘要

Abstract

The fundamental principle of Monte Carlo simulation for power system reliability assessment is researched in detail, and then its convergence performance is deeply analyzed. The probabilistic dependence relation between computation accuracy and sample size is analyzed, and the confidence interval formulae for computation accuracy and sample size are derived. These formulae are significant to balance the simulation accuracy and the calculation cost. The presented method is verified by the assessment analysis in RBTS, IEEE-RTS79 and IEEE-RTS96 test systems.
