Abstract
The paper addresses the topic of "Negative Capability" and its embodiment of Shakespeare in his Measure for Measure.According to John Keats,Negative Capability is that "when man is capable of being in uncertainties,mysteries,doubts,without any irritable reaching after fact and reason." The present paper delves into Measure for Measure with a focus on its genre,characterization and ending and reaches the conclusion that Negative Capability is brought into full swing in the play.关键词
