摘要

Abstract

In order to improve the performances of the automobilestabilization and steering as well as to ensure the reliability of the leaf springs,a mathematical model of optimum design for the leaf springs is established on the basis of the smallest weight of the leaf springs and a calculation program TLSODP(Taper Leaf Spring Optimum Design Program) is derived from FORTRAN 77. Finally,a practical example of design calculation is taken to show that the weight of the improved leaf springs decreases 29.6% compared with the original design by using the mathematical model and optimum calculation program.
