摘要

Abstract

The contents of terpenoids (mainly sesquiterpenoids) andrelationships between the contents and resis-tance of the Pinus massoniana provenances that have high resistance (H), middle resistance (M) and low resis-tance (L) were studied in the present paper. The resistance is the characteristics of the provenance in relation to the neutral terpenoid contents. The main result is that there are more longifolene and terpineol, but less trans-caryophyllene and β-selinene in the H provenance than the M and L provenances among the 35 detected components. The larger the difference is between the contents of longifolene and trans-caryophyllene, the stronger the resistance of the masson pine is.
