摘要

Abstract

Based on the vertical sealing mechanism of a fault, by analyzing the relation between the pressure form overlap sedimentary load, distribution conditions of mudstone deformation characteristics of mudstone in fault zone and depth, this paper studied the vertical sealing characteristics of a fault in section. According to the depth needed by elastic deformation limit and deformation intensity limit of mudstone, this paper divided the vertical sealing of a fault whose fault zone s filled with mudstone in continuous form into three parts: fault is open in the upper part, fault is seal in middle part because of the plastic flow of mudstone, fault is seal in lower part because of the break of mudstone. The example analysis of Hailaer Basin indicates that the sealing or open and sealing mechanism of a fault can be probably forecast by the division of fault vertical sealing in section.
