Abstract
When phase to earth fault occurs on a neutral non-direct grounded power system, it is necessary to select the faulted circuit quickly,but so far this has not been done very well.This paper gives a brief analysis firstly to fault transient characteristics of these kinds of system,and then presents a novel fault circuit selecting method.The proposed method utilizes wavelets transform to obtain useful fault transient components,and therefore is superior in adaptability and sensibility to currently used methods in which steady state components are based.关键词
