Abstract
The experiment was conducted to study the specific effects ofdietary methionine (Met) and lysine (Lys) on carcass quality of 3-6wk-old female broiler chicks.Supplemental Met and Lys were fed in a 3×5 factorial arrangement with graded dietary Met (0.32%,0.44%,0.56%) and Lys (0.7%,0.85%,1.0%,1.15%,1.30%)levels.Nine hundred 21-day-old Avian broiler chicks were randomly allocated to one of 15 different groups consisted of six replicates of 10 birds each.The basal diet containing corn,soybean meal,peanut meal and corn gluten meal provided 0.70% total Lys,0.32% Met,18.8%CP,12.73ME(MJ/Kg).Average daily weight gain (ADWG)and feed intake (ADFI),feed efficiency (F/G),carcass yield (CY),and percenlage of breast muscle (BMR) and abdominal fat (AFR),plasma concentrations of uric acid (UA),triglyceride (TG) and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) were determined at the end of the experiment.Results showed that dietary Met and Lys significantly influence the body composition and fat metabolism (P<0.01).Plasma UC,TG and VLDL concentrations are increased on matter dietary Lys or Met was deficient of excessive.Lysine or Met deficiency significantly decreased the ADWG,CY,BMR and increased the AFR and FE.Moderately increasing dietary Met and/or Lys levels had a trend to increase BMR and CY and decrease AFR,then improve carcass quality of broiler chicks关键词
