摘要

Abstract

When hydraulic turbine operates under the operating condition ofhigh head and low output, the water flow in the passage way becomes unsteady, results in water pressure pulse and component stress pulse. That is the fundamental reason of runner vane cracking and turbine cavitation. This article discusses the position on the hydraulic turbine characteristic curves under the operation condition of high and low output in some real cases of hydraulic power station. Many means for avoiding vibration in this paper are available.
