The de-noise processing in free-form surface reconstruction based on wavelet transform and NURBS

Abstract
Wavelet analysis theory is a new theory in signal processing and performs well in local analysis in both frequency and time domains. Due to the advantage in time-frequency analysis, wavelet analysis has played a particularly important role in signal de-noising. The application of wavelet analysis in surface de-noising was introduced in this paper. Wavelet analysis of original surface was carried out, on which a large amount of noises were added randomly, and lower frequency components were then extracted. Thus the surface was reconstructed by NURBS in Unigraphics, and the reconstruction accuracy was finally ana-lyzed.关键词
