Abstract
BACKGROUND:To study hongzhenzhu xuezhi kang capsule(HXKC) in pharmacodynamics for the sustainable utilization and development of the natural plant resources in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau,such as Nitraria tangutorun Bobr.. OBJECTIVE:To probe into the mechanism of HXKC on regulating blood lipid,developed mainly by the natural plant fruits enriched in Winghai-Xizang Plateau and Chaidamu region,I.e.Nitraria tangutorun Bobr.,Hippophae rhamnoides L,Lycium barbarum L,etc.. DESIGN:Randomized controlled trial. SETTING,MATERIALS and INTERVENTIONS:The experiment was performed in the Pharmacological Experiment Room of Institute of Plateau Medical Science in Qinghai.66 Kunming mice and 68 Wistar rats of either sex were employed.According to the random number table,the mice were divided into normal forage breeding group of 12(for blank control) and high-lipid forage breeding group of 54.2 weeks later after breeding,the mice were divided at random into high-lipid model group,high dosage group(HXKC,2.0 g/kg),low dosage group(HXKC,1.0 g/kg) and positive control group(zhibituopian,1.05 g/kg).The medicine was given by gastric infusion 10 mL/kg and the same volume pipe water was provided in blank control and high-lipid model groups to determine serum total cholesterol(TC) and triacylglyceol(TG) content in mice.According to the random number table,68 normal rats were divided into blank control group(normal forage),high-lipid model group,HXKC low dosage group(0.5 g/kg),moderate dosage group(1.0 g/kg),high dosage group(2.0 g/kg) and positive control group(zhibituopian,1.05 g/kg).The medicine was given by gastric infusion 10 mL/kg and the same volume pipe water was provided in blank control and high-lipid model groups to determine serum TC,TG,high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),MDA content and activity of superoxide dismutase( SOD) . RESULTS:Compared with high-lipid model group,serum TC,TG content in the rats and mice with hyperlipemia in HXKC high and low dosage groups were remarkably lower(P< 0.05- 0.01).Compared with high-lipid model group[(8.64± 2.07) μ mol/L],serum MDA content in the rats with hyperlipemia in HXC high and moderate dosage groups were remarkably lower[(6.17± 1.81) ,(6.89± 1.54) μ mol/L](P< 0.05- 0.01).Compared with high-lipid model group,the activity of erythrocyte SOD in the rats with hyperlipemia in HXC high,moderate and low dosage groups were remarkably higher(P< 0.05). CONCLUSION:To suggest that HXKC capsule acts on preventing hyperlipemia and improving atherosis.关键词
