Microscopic Interpretation of the Zero-field Splitting Parameters of Transition-metal Ions in Crystals Ⅰ:An Effective Hamiltonian Theory
摘要
Abstract
An effective Hamiltonian theory is proposed for the zero-field splitting (ZFS) parameters of transition-metal 3dN ions in crystals by treating the spin-orbit and the spin-spin interactions as perturbations to the electrostatic and the crystal-field potentials. With an excellent convergence, this theory makes it possible to determine every ZFS parmeters of any 3dN ion (N=2~8) in any symmetry having an orbital-singlet ground-state.关键词
