摘要

Abstract

A liquid medium good for rice pollen germination has been developed through a procedure of optimization. Over 80% of pollen germination rate was obtained with the medium composed of 20% sucrose,10% PEG, 3m mol/L Ca (NO3)2,10 mg VB1 and 40 mg·L-1 boric acid. After a short time of hydration between 3~8 min,the pollen tube emerged and increased at the rate over 5.0 μm·min-1 in 30 min. The optimal incubation temperature range for the high germination was from 27 to 33℃.
