摘要

Abstract

Preparation of novel amphoteric polyacrylamides with DMC, AM and MA as initial monomers according to water solution copolymerization mechanism was intensively investigated in this paper, and the experimental reaction condition was preliminarily optimized considering the specific application efficiency in papermaking process based on white water closure. The experimental results show that, novel and effective amphoteric polyacrylamides with relative molecular weight of approximately 500 000 can be successfully prepared, when the monomer consistency, reaction temperature, N2 charging time, dosage of initiating agents, pH value of reaction medium and temperature preservation time were 20%, 80℃, 10 min, 0.075%, 4.5~5.5, and 4 h respectively. Also, the optimum product of amphoteric polyacrylamide was proved to be superior to the commercial product of cationic polyacrylamide when applied in papermaking process with white water closure, and it was generally equal to imported amphoteric polyacrylamide as far as ring crush strengthening effect were taken into account.
