Abstract
The present state of R & D as well as market-consumption of Rayon-based CF in China and other nations was described. It seems that the gap between China and other nations shows a tendency to be more and more wider. The supply of Rayon-based CF can not meet the demand of our country. From the standpoint of techno-economics, the factors limiting the development of Rayon-based CF were analyzed and summarized. The quality of raw Rayon-based fibers is so critical that it has a great influence in the properties of Rayon-based carbon fibers. Other factors like high investment, high cost and small amount of invested funds for research and production are also important. Social benefit of Rayon-based carbon fibers was simply analyzed. Some suggestions for the development of Rayon-based carbon fibers in China were put forward.关键词
