EXPERIENCE OF CARDIOPULMONARY BYPASSFOR YOUNG CHILDREN WITH OPEN HEART SURGERY

Abstract
Objective:To discuss the method of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) for young children with open heart surgery.Methods:Five hundred and thirty-seven young children with congenital heart disease,from 1992 ～ 1998 years there were three hundred and seventy-two patients were used middle hypothermia CPB,the ratio of solution to colloid were keep 0.6～ 1.0 During 1999year,on hundred and eighty-five patients were adopted superficial hypothemai CPB,the ratio of solution to colloid were maintainod0.3 ～ 0.4. Results: The CPB duration of five hundred and thirty ～ seven young children was 36～493 (mean time was 74±22) min,the aortic clamping duration was 1 7～97 (mean time was 41±19)min. When opened the aortic clamping duration was 17～97(meantime was 41±19)min. When opened the aortic clamping there were two hundred and ninety-seven patients heart were bealing bythemselves in three hndred and seven-two patients From 1992～1998 years;The ratio of hearts beating by themselves was 80. 1％(282/352),the operative mortality was 7.95 ％ (28 patients). During 1999 year,there were one hundred and sixty-eight patientshearts were beating by themselves,the ratio was 90.2 ％ (167/185),the operative mortality was 4.3 ％ (8 patients). Conclusions: During open heart surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass on young children,reduced the priming vdume and increase the ratio of colloid,the supefficial hypothermia CPB and high perfusion flow ratio were adopted in operation; those steps will help the young children torecover well after operation.关键词
