Abstract
This study,done on the basis of corpus linguistics approach,analyses concordances of the English adjective considerable taken from four one-million-word corpora and presents in detail the description of the characteristics of the word and the nouns modified by it.The paper provides a model for study of the usage of words in a descriptive approach.关键词
