摘要

Abstract

In eukaryotes,Rac gene is crucial for rapid morphological responses to the environment.Rac gene was cloned by RT-PCR from Trichoderma harzianum cDNA. The gene encodes the protein of 204 amino acids with molecular mass of 22. 4 kD. With BlastP and bioinformational tools,it was revealed that amino acid sequences of Rac genes from some fungal species share higher similarity. The Rac from T. harzianum shares the highest similarity (82%) with that from Epichlos typhina and the lowest 75% with that from Talaromyces stipitatus. The GTP/GDP binding and effector domain of T. harzianum RAC protein were probably identified. The cDNA and deduced amino acid sequence of Rac gene were accepted by GeneBank (accession numbers: FJ595933 and ACM24223).
