Application of the Green's Functions for the Settlement of Transversely- isotropic Layered Soil
摘要
Abstract
n this paper, the thin layer element method is used. The explicit displacements Green's functions of trans- versely- isotropic (TI) stratified soil corresponding to the loads applied at the surface or the interior of the media is derived. In the process, this paper also investigates the differences between the settlements of the transverselyisotropic and the isotropic layered soil. The idea presented in the paper are of general significance in engineering.关键词
