络合溶胶-凝胶法制备Al2O3纳米晶及其表征
PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF ALUMINA NANOCRYSTALLINE POWDER BY COMPLEXING SOL-GEL METHOD

Abstract
A nanocrystalline alumina (Al2O3) powder was synthesized from aluminum isopropoxide (Al(OC3H7i)3) by the complex-ing sol-gel method using polyethylene glycol (PEGI000) as a complexing agent. The complexing precursor and the powder calcined at various temperatures were characterized by differential thermal analysis/thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The effects of complexing agent and calcination temperature on the powder dispersion, phase structure size and morphology of particles were discussed. The results show that the addition of complexing agent can improve the particle dispersion. The alumina powder with γ-Al2O3 phase can be obtained after the gel powder was calcined at 600-900℃. The morphology of γ-Al2O3 particles calcined at 600℃ is needle-like with a length of about 50-60 nm. Since the needle-like particles become shorter with increasing calcination temperature, the length of the particles is thus 20-30um at 750 "C. The particles calcined at 900 ℃ become grain-like with a size of 10nm. The gel particles calcined at 1 000 ℃ is a mixture powder with θ-Al2O3 , α-Al2O3 phases with a size of 20 nm. The phase of the particles calcined at 1 200 "C can be transformed into α-Al2O3 phase.关键词
