Abstract
Aim Faecal sample of dogs infected naturally with Giardia were examined for Giardia cysts by Zinc Sulphate floatation. The result indicated that the rule of Giardia canis cysts in dogs was intermittent. The period of intermittence was 7 ～ 8 days. Cysts shedding peaked in 12 ～ 14 days. The period of peak continued 2 ～ 3 days and then gradually reduced. The time of cysts
shedding was 25～27 days. Two young dogs with immumological suppression inhibition were inoculated with Giardia canis cysts isolated from dogs' feces. Giardia cysts were detected after 7 days. Cysts shedding peaked in 6～ 7days after inoculation. The peak of cysts shedding continued 4～ 5 days. The dogs infects had the symptoms as follow diarrhea weight 1oss.关键词
