Abstract
Allele and genotype frequencies for six terameric short tandem repeat (STR) loci were established from 111 unrelated Han individuals in Jiangsu province, China using two multiplex polymerase chain reactions (PCR), followed by eletrophoresis of the PCR products in denaturing polyacrylamide gels and subsequent detection by silver staining. The loci were CSF1PO, TPOX, TH01,D16S539, D7S820 and D13S317. All loci met Hardy-Weinberg expectations ( P＞0.05 ). The discrimination power (DP) and the power of exclusion (PE) from combination of 6 STR loci were >0.999 9 and >0.988 2, respectively. Hence, the six STR loci were highly suitable for forensic in dividualization and paternity tests to Han population in Jiangsu.关键词
