摘要

Abstract

When the strain-based design pipeline was stretched axially,the girth weld defects of the pipeline would be assessed with different methods from the general defect assessment procedures and the parameters used were different either.Because the defects failure of strain-based design pipeline related to the weld and pipe metal,and some more factors.The defect assessment procedures for strain-based design pipeline were based on fracture theories and could used to predict defect sizes by limiting condition of remote strain.
