摘要
Abstract
This article probes into the cultural dif ferences between English and Chinese languages, by way of a comparative and cont rastive study on the figurative images of animal idioms in English and Chinese l anguages. It analyzes the origin of the differences from the development of huma n cultural evolution, the geographical environment and the various tastes of diff erent nationalities. Thus it draws a conclusion that we should pay more attentio n to the conveying of the implied cultural information when we transmit language information in cross-cultural communication.关键词
