摘要

Abstract

In this paper, we develop a method of non-overlapping domaindecomposition for linear elliptic problem. First, Lagrange multiplier is introduced so that the continuity of solu tion at the interface between sub-domains is satisfied weakly. Then we concentrate on the construction of the discrete space of Lagrange multiplier, the space of mortar ele ments, and the conjugated gradient method for the related saddle point problem. This domain decomposition method is very suitable for the non-matching meshes. Some modifications to the local a posteriori error estimation based on the appro ximation with quadratic bump functions are made for domain decomposition. This method can be extended to the generalized Stokes problem. Finally, some numerical experiments were presented on the adapted meshes with a posteriori error estimate as criterion.
