摘要
Abstract
The leakage event of a non-asbestos gasket was taken place at the manhole flanged joint of a boiler after more than one-year service.In order to find out the reason of this accident,the spot investigation and gasket performance test were carried out,and the microstructure of some new and failure gaskets was observed by means of scanning electron microscope.The research results indicate that hydrolysis and pulverization of non-asbestos fibers of the gasket caused by steam at the elevated temperature is the main reason resulted in the gasket failure.关键词
