Abstract
Objective：To establish pancreaticoduodenal transplantation model in rats.Methods：Sun Lee's methods were applied to the establishment of pancreaticoduodenal transplantation model in rats with some modifications. 70 cases of pancreaticoduodenal transplantation in rats were done. Blood and urine glucose levels were observed after operation.Results：One week after operation 65 cases survived,the success rate being 92.9%. Blood and urine glucose levels returned to normal on the first day after operation. The recipient rats could survive for a long time,and function of the grafts and vascular patency remained normal.Conclusion：Pancreaticoduodenal transplantation in rats could cure experimental diabetes mellitus. The operation is not easy to handle and the succees rate is high. Pancreas exocrine secretion was drained into intestine,which is in accord with physiological principle.关键词
