Studies on Maize Germplasm Division According to the Special Combining Ability

Abstract
One hundred and fifty-t hree crosses mated with Griffing method Ⅳby 18 widely used maize (Zea mays L.)inbred lines were evaluated at several locations in 1994 ,the gra in yield combining ability including SCA and GCA were analyzed.Classification of inbred lines were made by using the datum of specific combining ability.18 inbr ed lines were divided into 10 groups,they are Ⅰ(Lancaster):Mo17,Qi302;Ⅱ(Shi P ingto):Huangzao 4,Jing 7 huang,Yie 515;Ⅲ(Improved Reid):Yie 8112,Zheng 32,Tie 7 922,Shen 5003,Yi e 478;Ⅳ(Luda Honggu):Dan 340,E28;Ⅴ:Zong 31;Ⅵ:Zi 330;Ⅶ:Yie 107;Ⅷ:Huo Bai;Ⅸ: Yie 52106;Ⅹ:Aijin 525.The analyzing method of combining ability and mutual effe ct with env ironment was introduced and the relationship between specific combining ability and genotypes of parent inbred lines was discussed.关键词
