Small Excess and the Topology of Open Manifolds
摘要
Abstract
In this papcr, wc study the relations between the excess of open manifolds and their to-pology by using the methods of comparison geometry. We prove thet for an open manifold with cur-vature bounded from below, it has finite topological type or it is diffeomorphic to Rn when its ex-cess is bounded by some function of its critical radius.关键词
