Abstract
Based on the study on Shanghai flood damage assessment model, this paper, from the angle of GIS (Geography Information System) application, systematically expatiates on the procedure of design and development of the flood damage assessment system and its technical features. The application system integrates the data processing, model operation, result inquiring, thematic map creating and reports exporting and sets up the dynamic link with flood simulation model and real-time data. The application system is open, flexible and practicable. It serves for flood protection decision-making very well in Shanghai.关键词
