In Situ Analysis Technique of Sm-Nd Isotopic System andIts Geological Application

Abstract
Microgeochemistry is one of the newly developing branches of geochemistry consisting of trace element and isotopic geochemistry of in situ analyses. This paper reports a review on in situ Sm-Nd analysis including a general developing history and status in quo of the method, with a focus on the presently measurable minerals (e.g. apatite, sphene, monazite and allanite) and correction techniques for isobar interfering (including 144Sm over 144Nd, and 130Ba16O over 146Nd). Furthermore, it illustrates some of its application instances of the analysis in chronology and orogenic uplifting-erosion. These applications show that in situ analysis of Sm-Nd isotopic system is to be a more and more valuable method in geochemical researches.关键词
