Vertical distribution of grasshoppers in Balikun of Xinjang
摘要
Abstract
The vertical distribution of grasshoppers in Balikun situated in the eastern par t of Xinjang is studied and the relationship between elevation and distribution of grasshopper is understood preliminarily. During 1998.7-8 the southern mountai n of Balikun was investigated and 800 grasshoppers were captured. By the way of arranging and identifying, there are 29 species which belong to 5 families and 19 genus, All of them are analyzed in the respect of vertical distribution and i ts related elements. It is indicated that every species of grasshopper has its s eparated vertical distribution area, however widely distributed species is rare
