摘要

Abstract

Soil Macropores have great influence on water and solute movement in soil. Several undis-turbed soil columns with various situations disturbed soil columns filled uniformly with special size ofsoil aggregates are scanned with CT. It is discussed systematically that how caught images and plotsof CTN value in two dimension matrix taken from CT scanning process are used to characterize thesize, number, type, distribution and continuity of macropores in the soils with traditional statisticalmethod and fractal geometry method. Results indicate that CT scanning is a promising, non-destruc-tive method for characterizing macropores in soil.
