Abstract
In the paper the no-linear FEA is used to calculate the stress ofcartridge cases in emission and the forces for extraction.The axial-symmetrical and three-dimensional calculating models are used separately to analyze cartridge cases, and it is find that there are errors in the axial-symmetrical calculating models as a result of rifling.The computing data indicates that because cartridge cases are thin-walled cylinders,the emission stress and plastic deformation are high under gun pressure.The reverse pressure makes cartridge cases yield again,and the equivalent stress reaches its maximun value especially when the pressure goes down.It results in the forces for extraction.Because the equivalent stress is invariable when the pressure goes down,the breechblock opening time does not affect forces for extraction.The influence of the initial clearances of the cartridge case and the barrel is also discussed.关键词
