The Forms and Distribution of Phosphorus in North Yellow Sea in Summer 2006

Abstract
Based on the data collected in summer 2006, the forms and distribution of phosphorus in the North Yellow Sea were discussed. The total phosphorus(TP)in summer ranged from 0.02 to 1.63 μmol/L.The uppermost form was DIP, and PP was the least. The concentration of TP was gradually increasing from south to north. All forms of phosphorus except for DOP were higher in the bottom than in the surface. Content of PP was oppositely even. DOP was the leading form in the surface layer, however, it was DIP in the bottom. DIP and DOP were negative correlation in a certain extent and the correlation factor was -0.34. The distributions of DIP and DOP were mainly affected by the biological processes, but it also related to the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass in the bottom of the sea.关键词
