ANALYSIS OF COMPOSING AND MICROSTRUCTURE OF Al2O3/hBN SELF-LUBRICATING CERAMIC COMPOSITE MATERIALS

Abstract
Some hexangular nitride boron (shorted for hBN) was mixed in Al2O3 ceramic matrix in order to gain self-lubricating effect. At the same time the hBN as the weak interface was introduced to the selflubricating compound ceramic then the Al2O3-hBN laminated structure was designed. Phase composing and microstructure of laminated composite were researched and the result indicated that BN would not fuse and could disperse equably in the ceramic matrix when the content of BN was 10% and the firing temperature was 1650℃.关键词
