摘要
Abstract
This paper presents principal performance and function of FY-1 meteorological s atellite which belongs to the first generation of polar orbiting meteorological satellite developped independently and with the initiative in Chinese own hands, and in particular expounds FY-1C meteorological satellite's application in the realm of meteorological and oceanic remote sensing, spatial environment study, global environment monitoring, disaster mitigation and other application in soci al and economic interests, as well as contribution to international meteorologic al operation. Finally, out look for the development of next generation of Chines e polar orbiting meteorological satellite is presented.关键词
