摘要

Abstract

The deformation precursor law of the Zhangbei Earthquake was studied using the cross-fault deformation data from 1994 to 2000 in the Beijing area,and the relation of the anomalies from 1995 to 1999 in the Beijing area to the medium-strong earthquakes in this and adjacent areas was analyzed quantitatively by taking the ratio of deformation rate to datum value as the anomaly parameters.The results show that in most cases medium-strong earthquake occurs in 6~12 months after the anomalies.In 1997~1998 the number of anomaly was over 6 and in that peried the Zhangbei Earthquake of 6.2 occured(in Jan.1998).
